Alstef Group is proud to join the United Nations Global Compact as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. This commitment is to operate responsibly, in alignment with Ten universal Principles, take action to support society, and report to the UN Global Compact annually on our ongoing efforts.
What is the United Nations Global Compact?
It’s a voluntary initiative for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices. It is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles, and to take action in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 20,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks.
As a participant, Alstef Group is committed to aligning its group CSR strategy and operations with the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and take actions that advance societal goals in accordance with these principles.
“Joining the UN Global Compact is a natural step in our CSR journey. It reinforces our commitment to ethical business practices, environmental responsibility, and social progress. We are determined to drive positive change alongside a global network of responsible companies.”, says Aurélie Vannier, CSR and QSE Director – Alstef Group.
