In August last year, Alstef Group commenced work on a major multi-phase upgrade of the baggage handling system at Adelaide Airport in South Australia. This comprehensive project will enhance operational efficiency and security through:
– Standard 3 X-ray screening upgrades
– Redundancy reconfiguration for added resilience
Following a collaborative design phase, the project includes integrating five new Standard 3 X-ray machines, deploying our innovative BAGWARE software suite, and future provision of an Early Bag Store (EBS). With a detailed 14-month phased plan, we’re committed to delivering this installation with minimised disruptions to airport operations – aiming for completion by the end of 2025.
We’re proud to continue our long-term partnership with Adelaide Airport, where we installed the original baggage system and continue to support its operation with an on-site team.
