Alstef Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Ulmamei as Vice President APAC, based in Sydney.
Dan brings extensive experience in the materials handling industry, spanning both Baggage Handling Systems and Warehouse Automation. His career includes engineering, operations leadership and general management roles with global materials handling organisations, providing him with strong technical, operational and commercial expertise.
In his role, Dan will oversee our APAC strategy, strengthen the collaboration between countries within the region and beyond, deepen our customer partnerships and forge new, long-lasting ones, while upholding our values and leading our teams across the business.
In addition to his industry background, Dan offers a valuable global and multicultural perspective. Born in Romania and now Australian, with close ties to Portugal and professional experience across India and Southeast Asia, he is recognised for his people-focused leadership style and strong track record in both customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
His appointment further strengthens Alstef Group’s leadership presence in the Asia-Pacific region and supports the continued growth of our airport and intralogistics activities across the region.
